Jackson Mou is a gourmet Sushi chef who has a passion for Japanese fusion food. He has worked for sixteen years in five star restaurants. He worked hard started as a sushi apprentice and soon made his way up to a consultant chef. The quality and taste of his unique style of food is famous and he is in great demand as a personal chef, consultant and advisor to many successful businesses.

Jackson Mou’s mission statement states that he will “continue to significantly exceed customers’ expectations in all aspects of taste and service.” He also aims to “bring out traditional style dishes with modern fusion concepts into new and reinventing experiences.” This results in new and unique dishes that you will not be able to taste ANYWHERE ELSE !

Jackson Mou first became interested in Japanese cuisine when he was only a teenager and started working as a sushi apprentice at the prestigious Hatsuhana Kaiseki style cuisine restaurant, which was one of the top Kaiseki eating places in New York at the time. It was here that he learnt all about Japanese cuisine and perfected his art of being a top Kaiseki chef.

From then on, he worked in five star restaurants until he became a restaurant consultant for many high-class eateries. His experience includes menu development and management and of course being a sushi chef. He has also become an expert of Japanese, French, Spanish and Italian fusions that incorporate Japanese traditional dishes with East and Western techniques. Jackson Mou specializes in creating delicious and delicate maki, temaki, sushi, sashimi and Asian tapas dishes. To sample one of his dishes is a culinary delight.

He has now gained so much experience that he is willing to work with and implement his skills at your establishment. He has been a restaurant consultant to over 150 restaurants; they are all doing very well under his tutelage. Jackson found that he was good at creating Japanese fusion menus with the right balance and flavor. He has made full use of the fact that he used to work with Japanese Iron chef Morimoto and has great experience because of this. He is willing to consult with people who are looking to start their own restaurant business.

Now his company Sushi Private Cater provides catering services to parties and events. His mission statement for his company is to continue to significantly exceed customers’ expectations in all aspects of taste and service and merge traditional style dishes with modern fusion concepts into new and innovative experiences. Sushi Private catering business is located in Southern California but the catering service can be experienced anywhere.
